Most of us maintain the tension in the back, shoulders and neck, that causing pain. These areas are very sensitive to stress even the most casual events. The pain may involve a cold day outside, or too much time on the computer without interruption.
Tips for Back Pain Relief:
1. Get some down time. Rest relieves pressure on your muscle tissue. Lie down facing the ceiling and lift your knees slowly to your head. Stretch your chin up, if possible, but do not lift your knees further than comfortable. Now hold this position for at least one minute. If you start to feel pain, lowering earlier. This stretch can help release of new muscle tissue and relief back pain.

2. Ice away the pain. Rub an ice cube slowly through the pain. Move the cube in a circle, keeping a steady movement to prevent freezing and injury to the tissue surface. Get help if you cannot comfortably reach the area of pain on your own.
3. Stretch slowly. Slow movement and soft after ice therapy help to restore circulation and can relax back muscle fiber in position. Be careful, because too much stress can increase the pain and prolong or spasm. Just move your current range of movement toward comfortable rather than stressful positions.
