Myrtus communis 'Tarentina'
 
Myrtus communis 'Tarentina' is a compact and dense shrub with small leaves. Otherwise, it is very similar to the species.
This variety is suitable for hedges or topiaries. It may also be grown in containers.
 
Leaves are small, evergreen, aromatic when crushed, glossy deep-green, with a pointed apex, densely set.
Flowers are fragrant, creamy-white. Flowers buds are white and red.
