Colquhounia coccinea
 
The genus Colquhounia contains six species of evergreen or semi-decidious shrubs that are native to the Himalayas. Colquhounia coccinea is an evergreen shrub that can grow up to 10 ft (3 m) tall. It has large soft leaves and orange flowers.
This ornamental shrub can withstand down to about 14°F-18°F (-8°C to -10°C), and can thus be grown in USDA zones 8 and warmer.
 
Leaves are large, opposite and slightly pubescent. They are about 7 in (15 cm) long, and they are scented when brushed or crushed.
This plant has long orange-red tubular flowers in summer or fall, depending on the climate. However, it is classified as a late flowering Labiaceae.
