Osteospermum jucundum
 
Osteospermum jucundum, also known as Dimorphotheca jucunda, belongs to the Compositae (Asteraceae) familly, and is native to the eastern mountains of South Africa.
This Osteospermum grows in altitude in its area of origin, and was succesfully grown in some regions of England. This plant should be frost hardy to 24°F (-5°C) and less.
 
Leaves are slightly pubescent, deep green and linear.
The species usually bears light pink flowers with yellow disks, but there is also a white variety with yellow disks, Osteospermum jucundum 'White Moon'.
 
Osteospermum jucundum prefers a well-drained ground.
