This Protea hardiness is not precisely known. For the moment, it is thus best to grow it in USDA zones 9b and warmer, before further tests are performed.
Soil - Burchell's sugarbush is naturally found in various grounds in South Africa. This shrub is said to prefer fairly fertile grounds.
