Description
General aspect and origins - Acacia pravissima is also known as Ovens wattle or wedge-leaf wattle. It is a small tree that is native to Australia. It is up to 25 ft (about 8 m) tall. One notable feature of this Acacia is the pendulous aspect of the branches, and the foliage which is made of triangular phyllodes.

This showy tree is relatively frost hardy, and will withstand brief frosts of 15°F (-9°C). It can this be grown in USDA zones 9 and warmer, and may be tried in USDA zone 8b.
