Retama monosperma

Retama monosperma is also known as Genista monosperma, and more commonly as bridal veil broom or simply bridal broom. It is a large shrub that may reach 20 ft (6 m) across. It is native to Spain and southern Africa.
Bridal broom is not very cold-hardy, but can withstand negative temperatures of about 26°F-28°F. This plant is considered as an invasive species in some regions and states such as California, USA.
 
bridal broom has very few leaves, on slender and drooping green stems.
Retama monosperma has white tiny flowers, which are very fragrant.
