Description

General aspect and origins - Pelargonium tomentosum is an aromatic, low-growing shrub.
Leaves - The velvety leaves of the peppermint-scented pelargonium are simple, showy and aromatic.
Flowers - The tiny flowers are white, with purple markings on the petals.

Culture

This Pelargonium is a fast growing and ornemental aromatic shrub, that is interesting for the gardener who lives in mild climates. It will withstand negative temperatures of 24-25°F (-4 to -5°C) and will best be grown in USDA zones 9b and warmer.
Soil - The peppermint-scented pelargonium will grow in a relatively large range of grounds, but prefers fertile and well-drained ground.

Propagation

The peppermint-scented pelargonium is easily propagated by cuttings.
