I live in zone 5 and know that the passiflora decaisnea that I just purchased (very costly) is not winter hardy in my area, and will have to be wintered inside. I tried to Google information about how to do this and got NO results. I would really appreciate step by step instructions and tips/ideas on this process. I would wish that I could successfully save this plant so that it would survive inside and be ready, strong and vigorous for the following summer to bloom prolifically outside in the garden. During its winter inside, do I allow the plant to almost dry before watering, do I withhold fertilizer, do I keep in full sun, should it be in a cool location - I have an unheated sun porch - do I cut it back drastically etc? I appreciate any feedback and expertise from experienced passiflora growers.
