Hello,
I am millee from Switzerland. I just bought a house with a nice (but a bit empty) garden near Geneva.
I intend to grow some plants with nice foliage and flowers. I'd like a tropical aspect, but what can I expect here in Switzerland ? I don't know much about the climate here as I am relatively new in this area ; so any advice will be most welcome. :yes:

Hello Millee,
I am new to this forum also. I live in Northern Michigan and have started the transformation of my home and yard. I have completed four formal gardens in my yard. I have according to my Husband too many houseplants. I joined the forum because I have a Dwarf Banana tree that has now after 5 years produced fruit. I need help with what will happen once the fruit is ripe.

That's my first post here. I currently live in Ireland, in a mild area (well, relatively speaking) and I am really interested in tropical looking foliage and Citrus trees. I recently realized I could grow a few hardy Citrus, I hope I can exchange some valuable information,

Im Franck living in Toulouse/ southern France (USDA 8) . Have a little exotic garden & tropical looking plants into. Interested in hardy exotics : xerophyts, palms, eucalyptus, bananas, citrus, passifloras, and much more .....  agree with discussions, visits & eventually plants & seeds swap.
