A couple of months ago my Father found a weird wild bush with spiked seeds he thought it kicked A** (his words not mine) well he took some seeds home and its been growing very well in the Arizona heat (115 the other day) Since its planting we have cut it off at the base and it grew back just fine and sprouted in another place in the yard where water shouldnt really reach and this new sprout has grown over 13 feet high. Me and the old man really like it but my Mom wants to cut it down unless we know what it is. Me and Dad have both been searching online for 2 weeks and nothing so I come to you with picks:

Here is the original plant grown back from being cut down

Here is a close up of the leaves if that could help at all, I couldn't find any seedpid but they are about the size of a walnut usally but fleashy green and covored in spikes that are soft, when they fall off and dry up they they shrink to about 1/4 size and become hard and the spikes actully hurt then (i needed bandaids)

This is our big boy, the second sprout that shot up about 2 months i think, its 13 feet last time we mesured (that wall behind it is 10 feet tall)
If anyone can help us figure this out we would both be really thankful, we really wanna keep it back there. Anything Helps! Thanks!
