Hello all;

I am thinking of designing a small dense and shady tropical area, in a marginal area where winter temps can drop to about 24-28°F.
I have already some ideas for the trees; but also I'd like some epiphytes and bromeliads to add a real tropical touch. But I don't know much about these plants.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hello hardyclimber

My suggestion for bromeliads :
- Billbergia nutans. I think it could adapt to the mentioned winter temps. Beautiful pink bracts
