Your banana pups will grow 2-3 times faster if you leave them with the mother plant.

Hello everybody,

Is this Musella evergreen ? How long from the tiny pup to the flower ? Do you confirm it dies after flowering ?

Stupid question, but does it bear some sort of bananas or similar ?

Thanks

- Yes it is, at least in frost-free climates.

- How long? A few seasons, but it all depends on your USDA/Sunset zone...

- It is monocarpic, yes. So the mother stem will die, while offsets will grow...

- Nothing as conspicuous as bananas, unfortunately.
