 hi everyone, I study gardenarchitecture and my dad asked me the name of a plant that we got from a gift. but I have no idea of what it is... mayby somebody here can help me out?

 Hello Viper0607,
I think this plant is likely to be the Dragon Arum, Dracunculus vulgaris
Foul odour for a few days when the "flower" (in fact, the spathe) is fully open, but well worth growing otherwise. Exotic looking and frost hardy.
